Dr. Krushna Chandra Mohapatra, Hon\u2019ble Minister of Housing & Urban Development and Public Enterprises, Government of Odisha, today visited Insectika\u2019s state-of-the-art Black Soldier Fly (BSF)\u2013based waste upcycling facility at the Bharatpur Micro Composting Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the visit, the Minister reviewed the innovative processes through which organic waste is converted into high-value outputs using BSF larvae. He appreciated the technology\u2019s potential to enhance municipal waste management, reduce landfill burden, and generate sustainable by-products such as protein-rich feed and organic soil enhancers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Mohapatra commended the partnership between Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, and Insectika in introducing advanced circular-economy solutions in urban sanitation. He emphasized that such technology-driven initiatives align with the State\u2019s commitment to scientific waste processing, environmental stewardship, and creation of green livelihoods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
