The programme was graced by Ms. Gupa Poonam tapas Kumar, IAS, Commissioner- cum- Secretary, Department of Handloom, Textiles &amp; Handicrafts and Revenue Divisional Commissioner (CD), Govt. of Odisha, as Chief Guest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/465719-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4057\" srcset=\"https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/465719-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/465719-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/465719-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/465719-1536x1023.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/465719.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FWWB (Friends of Women\u2019s World Banking) Hosted the consultation featured in-depth panel and group discussions focusing on the role of farm women in farming and farmer collectives, access to finance, market linkages, and technology adoption for FPOs besides the challenges faced by rural women particularly in Agriculture sector. The panel discussion was moderated by Dr. Debasish Mohapatra, Associate Professor, KIIT School of Rural Management, while \u2018Dr. (Ms.) Sarbani Das, Joint Director- Extension (Information) &amp; PI, Centre of Excellence for FPOs, OUAT\u2019 \u2018Mr. Subhrajit Satapathy, Senior Manager, NABKISAN\u2019, \u2018Mr. Amit Parida, State Head, SAMMUNATI\u2019, \u2018Mr. Tara Prasad Tripathy, Integrator, PRADAN\u2019, \u2018Mr. Kedar Chandra Pradhan, Regional Manager, AYEKART\u2019, participated as panel members. Representative from palladium Odisha, made a detailed presentation on women-led rural FPOs and collectives in the state of Odisha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"630\" src=\"https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/465721-1024x630.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4058\" srcset=\"https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/465721-1024x630.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/465721-300x184.jpg 300w, https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/465721-768x472.jpg 768w, https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/465721.jpg 1514w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event successfully highlighted the importance of gender mainstreaming by strengthening women\u2019s leadership and decision-making roles within Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and local institutions. It showcased gender-inclusive and climate-resilient agricultural practices through practical CSA model demonstrations that supported women farmers. The program also facilitated access to finance by linking women farmers and FPOs with financial institutions and climate-finance opportunities. In addition, participants were introduced to user-friendly, gender-sensitive technologies aimed at improving productivity and enhancing market orientation.
