{"id":4466,"date":"2026-01-28T15:10:28","date_gmt":"2026-01-28T15:10:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/?p=4466"},"modified":"2026-01-28T15:11:07","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T15:11:07","slug":"odisha-showcases-future-ready-aviation-vision-at-wings-india-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/?p=4466","title":{"rendered":"Odisha Showcases Future-Ready Aviation Vision at Wings India 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Focus on Women-Led and Skill-Driven Growth<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hyderabad\/Bhubaneswar | 28 January 2026 (ADN) The Government of Odisha is making a strong and aspirational presence at Wings India 2026, Asia\u2019s largest civil aviation event, through its dedicated pavilion themed \u201cOdisha Takes Flight\u201d, reflecting the State\u2019s expanding role in India\u2019s aviation growth story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the Odisha Pavilion, visitors are experiencing how the State is building a future-ready, inclusive and investment-friendly aviation ecosystem, driven by progressive policies, expanding regional and international connectivity, focused skilling initiatives and long-term infrastructure planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/500645-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4470\" srcset=\"https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/500645-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/500645-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/500645-768x511.jpg 768w, https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/500645.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The pavilion highlights Odisha\u2019s vision of \u201cAviation for All\u201d, showcasing opportunities across airport development, aviation training, drone ecosystem, MRO potential and human capital development, aligned with the State\u2019s long-term roadmap under Viksit Odisha 2036 and Viksit Bharat 2047.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding momentum to the State\u2019s participation, Smt. Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary, Commerce &amp; Transport Department, participated as a panelist in the \u201cWomen in Aviation\u201d Round Table Session, reinforcing Odisha\u2019s commitment to gender-inclusive growth and leadership across the aviation value chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Padhee said that the State is focused on encouraging girls to explore aviation early in their careers and, through convergence of departments and partners, creating an enabling ecosystem that allows women to enter, grow and lead in the aviation sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of its skilling-led development approach, the Commerce &amp; Transport Department signed two Memoranda of Understanding today to strengthen aviation training infrastructure in Odisha. An MoU with M\/s Alchemist Aviation will facilitate the establishment of a Flying Training Organisation (FTO) at Dandbose Airport, Mayurbhanj, with an annual training capacity of around 50 pilots. Another MoU with M\/s BonV Aero will enable the setting up of a UAV (Drone) Training and Testing Centre at Rangeilinda Airstrip, Berhampur\u2014the first such facility in the State\u2014capable of training over 100 UAV pilots annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Odisha\u2019s aviation development strategy places emphasis on public\u2013private partnership-led infrastructure, coordinated policy support and long-term sustainability to strengthen regional connectivity and promote inclusive growth.
