{"id":5632,"date":"2026-03-12T16:28:28","date_gmt":"2026-03-12T16:28:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/?p=5632"},"modified":"2026-03-12T16:29:43","modified_gmt":"2026-03-12T16:29:43","slug":"mission-shakti-is-a-powerful-women-led-transformation-movement-in-the-statedy-cm-pravati-parida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/?p=5632","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Mission Shakti&#8217; is a powerful women-led transformation movement : Dy.CM Pravati Parida"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>*<em>676 Women Leaders Empowered Through First-Ever \u2018Subhadra Shakti Leadership Summit\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Bhubaneswar,12\/03\/2026<\/em> [ADN] The six-day Subhadra Shakti Leadership Summit, organised for the first time by the Department of Mission Shakti at Konark, concluded successfully, marking a significant step towards strengthening women\u2019s leadership in Odisha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest and addressed the participants, praising the crucial role of women in building a developed Odisha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing the gathering, Deputy CM said that Mission Shakti has evolved beyond a government programme and has become a powerful women-led transformation movement in the state. She noted that the summit aimed to equip women with leadership skills, emotional intelligence, capacity building and knowledge about start-up opportunities, which would guide Odisha towards a progressive future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is noteworthy that, for the first time in the history of Mission Shakti, President &amp; Secretary of 338 Block level Federations totalling 676 members participated in the summit. The programme began on March 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officials stated that the government remains committed to transforming Self-Help Groups (SHGs) into sustainable micro-enterprises and empowering women economically and digitally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mission Shakti Commissioner-cum-Secretary Manasi Nimbal, Director Dr Monica Priyadarshini, along with other officers of the department and dignitaries were present at the closing ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the final day, 174 representatives from Jharsuguda, Nuapada, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Subarnapur, Balangir and Mayurbhanj districts shared their experiences.
