In a major step toward expanding India&#8217;s clean energy footprint and fostering inter-state cooperation, the Energy Department, Government of Odisha, and the New and Renewable Energy Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh (MPNRED), today signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at New Delhi. By uniting the strategic vision and resources of Odisha and Madhya Pradesh, we are setting a strong benchmark for sustainable development, innovation, and resilient energy infrastructure that will accelerate India&#8217;s green growth trajectory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the terms of the agreement, both state departments will actively collaborate across key priority areas, including the joint promotion of solar, wind, and hybrid clean power technologies to meet growing regional demands. The partnership also focuses on establishing dedicated technical exchange channels for policy design, regulatory practices, and grid integration strategies, as well as launching collaborative R&amp;D projects in energy storage and green hydrogen.
