The Minister for Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare, Science and Technology, Shri Krishna Chandra Patra as the chief guest on the occasion, highly appreciated the activities of the corporation. Shri Patra said that it has been successful ensuring timely delivery of PDS to the beneficiaries under the Food Security Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking at the event, Managing Director of OSCSC, Shri K. Sudarshan Chakravarthy said that it has taken various steps for the interests of the farmers. It has adopted mechanism for Aadhaar-based registration and timely payment to farmers within 48 hours of paddy procurement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Similarly, General Manager of Food Corporation of India Shri Nihar Ranjan Pradhan and Additional Secretary of Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Shri Srikant Behura highlighted the major activities of the corporation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On this occasion, monthly booklet &#8216;Jogan Darpan&#8217; was launched and the retired person of the corporation were felicitated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">General Manager of Finance &amp; Accounts Shri Bibekananda Das presented the annual report while General Manager Shri Pravat Kumar Mohapatra proposed the vote of thanks. Among others, Financial Advisor Shri Debaraj Mandal, General Manager Smt.
