{"id":9300,"date":"2026-09-08T11:42:35","date_gmt":"2026-09-08T11:42:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/?p=9300"},"modified":"2026-09-08T11:42:35","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T11:42:35","slug":"surakshya-setu-manual-released-to-strengthen-industrial-safety-in-odisha","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/agamiduniya.in\/?p=9300","title":{"rendered":"Surakshya Setu\u2019 Manual Released to Strengthen Industrial Safety in Odisha"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>LABOUR AND EMPLOYEE\u2019S STATE INSURANCE DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF ODISH<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bhubaneswar 8. 9.2026 [ADN] :<\/strong> In a significant step towards strengthening industrial safety and fostering a culture of accident prevention in factories across Odisha, the book \u201cSurakshya Setu: Industrial Safety &amp; Risk Management Manual\u201d was formally released by the Hon\u2019ble Minister, Forest, Environment &amp; Climate Change, Labour &amp; Employee\u2019s State Insurance, Shri Ganesh Ram Singkhuntia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the occasion, the Hon\u2019ble Minister said, \u201cWidespread dissemination of safety knowledge will enable industrial establishments, workers and employees to identify and eliminate unsafe practices and conditions in their workplaces. The active participation of all stakeholders is essential to achieving our goal of zero industrial accidents in the State. I am confident that industries across Odisha will benefit from this manual and effectively implement its guidelines to enhance workplace safety.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The publication has been developed as a practical and user-friendly reference guide for workers, supervisors, safety professionals, managers and other stakeholders engaged in industrial operations. It seeks to provide easily accessible guidance on essential aspects of workplace safety and risk management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Surakshya Setu manual brings together key principles and practices relating to workplace safety, hazard identification, risk assessment, safe work procedures, accident prevention and emergency preparedness in a simple and accessible manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The manual is expected to play an important role in enhancing safety awareness and promoting safe work practices among workers and other stakeholders.
