Bhubaneswar, Feb 21, 2026[ADN]: Deputy Chief Minister Shri Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo today emphasized the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in agriculture, stating it will help farmers maximize profits by providing advance information on crops.
The discussion at Lok Seva Bhavan, attended by Commissioner-cum-Secretary Shri Sachin Ramachandra Jadhav and Director Agriculture Shri Shubham Saxena, followed the announcement of the Odisha budget, which saw a 12.3% increase in agriculture and allied sectors. Shri Singhdeo thanked the Chief Minister for the increased allocation, highlighting the government’s commitment to enhancing farmers’ income.
The discussion showcased innovative solutions, including a smartphone-based app presentation by Krishivaas, enabling crop monitoring, disease prediction, and temperature control. Digital crop surveys via satellites are also underway, demonstrating Odisha’s proactive approach to leveraging technology for agricultural growth.

ଗତକାଲି ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ବଜେଟ ଘୋଷଣା ହୋଇଛି, ଏଥିରେ କୃଷି ଓ ଆନୁଷଙ୍ଗିକ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ପୂର୍ବବର୍ଷ ତୁଳନାରେ ୧୨. ୩% ବୃଦ୍ଧି ଘଟିଛି। ଏହା ଦର୍ଶାଉଛି ଯେ କୃଷକ ଓ କୃଷିକାର୍ଯ୍ୟକୁ ଅଧିକ ଲାଭାନ୍ୱିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସରକାର ପ୍ରତିବଦ୍ଧ। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଉପମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ସିଂହଦେଓ ମାନ୍ୟବର ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଜଣାଇଛନ୍ତି। ସମୟ ସହ ତାଳଦେଇ ଆମକୁ କ୍ଷେତରେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ନବସୃଜନ ଓ ନୂତନ ପନ୍ଥା ଆପଣେଇ କୃଷିରୁ ଭଲ ଲାଭ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କରିପାରିବା ବୋଲି ଉପମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ସିଂହଦେଓ କହିଛନ୍ତି। ଆଜିର ସମୟରେ ଆର୍ଟିଫିସିଆଲ ଇଣ୍ଟେଲିଜେନ୍ସକୁ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ଫସଲର ତଦାରଖ କରାଯାଇପାରୁଛି। ରୋଗ ପୋକର ଆଗୁଆ ସୂଚନା ମିଳିପାରୁଛି ଏବଂ ତାପମାତ୍ରା ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ଫସଲର ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ମଧ୍ୟ ହୋଇପାରୁଛି। ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ଡିଜିଟାଲ କ୍ରପ ସର୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସାଟେଲାଇଟ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ କରାଯାଉଛି। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ କୃଷିବାସ ନାମକ ଏକ ସଂସ୍ଥା ନିଜର ସ୍ମାର୍ଟଫୋନ ଚାଳିତ ଆପ୍ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ ଏକ ଉପସ୍ଥାପନା ଉପମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କରିଥିଲେ।
