Bhubaneswar:[ADN] The Institute of Cost Accountants of India – Bhubaneswar Chapter celebrated “International Women’s Day 2026” on the theme “Give to Gain: When Women Lead, Value Multiplies” at CMA Bhawan, Bhubaneswar, in the presence of eminent dignitaries, professionals, members and students of the CMA fraternity.
Dr.Subhashree Nanda, IAS, Special Secretary, Planning & Convergence Department, Government of Odisha, graced the occasion as Chief Guest andhighlighted the importance of empowering women through education, professional opportunities and leadership roles.
SakuntalaBindhani, IAS (Retd.), delivered an inspiring address on women’s empowerment and shared her experiences from public service as Chief Speaker.
Damodar Mishra, Vice-Chairman of ICMAI–EIRC, graced the programme as the Guest of Honour and appreciated the efforts of the Bhubaneswar Chapter in organising such meaningful initiatives.
Among the Special Guests present were Dr.Meghana Mishra, Indian Actress and Educationist; Dr.Snigdharani Panda, Chairperson, Council of Deans, Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, Bhubaneswar; DebjaniDeghuria, Indian Actress and CMA Sangita Das, DGM (Finance), TPCODL, Bhubaneswar had shared their views on women’s empowerment and professional excellence.
In this occasion, CMASarat Kumar Behera, Chairman of the Chapter, welcomed the guests,CMA AvinashKotni, Vice Chairman of the Chapter facilitated the entire programme,CMA SoumyaRanjan Jena, Secretary of the Chapter,CMA BaradaPrasanNayak, Chairman, PD Committee and CMA Ramesh Chandra Patra, Immediate Former Chairman, were also present and coordinated the programme.
More than 150 members, students and distinguished women achievers from various fields participated in the programme, making the celebration meaningful and memorable.
