Students from Odisha who represented the State at the Tokyo Global Financial Forum today paid a courtesy visit to Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj. The Minister congratulated the students for their remarkable performance and achievements at the international forum.
Appreciating their accomplishment, the Minister said, “We are proud of the success of our students. Through their innovation and entrepreneurial ideas presented at the Global Financial Forum, they have brought pride to Odisha. Students pursuing studies in the general stream are not merely working toward degrees; they are using their creativity to develop solutions to real-world problems. By showcasing their innovative project on a global platform, they have made all of us proud and inspired the youth of the State.”
It may be noted that the Government of Odisha, in collaboration with the National University of Singapore – Asian Institute of Digital Finance and the Global Finance & Technology Network, had launched a Certification Programme in Fintech and Insurtech for students of colleges and universities in the State. As part of the programme, 195 students worked on various capstone projects.
Among them, a seven-member team that secured the top position was selected to present its fintech project at the Tokyo Global Financial Forum. The team members include B. Simran, Rajeshwari Behera, Pushpanjali Behera, Manisha Lenka and Soumya Ranjan Baithalu from Ravenshaw University; Shivanshi Nayak from Utkal University; and Arniban Kar from Salepur Autonomous College.
The students presented their project titled “TranchiFy – A Trust-Based Working Capital Platform for Next-Generation SMEs.” The fintech solution aims to simplify and digitize the process through which small and medium enterprises (SMEs) can access working capital and obtain bank loans more easily.
Expressing their happiness, the students said that the Fintech and Insurtech Certification Programme has helped them gain exposure to innovation, entrepreneurship and skill development in the fields of finance and technology. They also acknowledged that the Government of Odisha’s initiative enabled them to showcase their project at an international platform.
It is also pertinent to mention here that the second phase of the Fintech and Insurtech Certification Programme will begin soon and the application process for the next phase is currently underway.

ଟୋକିଓ ବୈଶ୍ବିକ ବିତ୍ତ ଫୋରମ୍ରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ପ୍ରତିନିଧିତ୍ୱ କରିଥିବା ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଆଜି ଉଚ୍ଚଶିକ୍ଷା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟବଂଶୀ ସୂରଜଙ୍କ ସହ ସୌଜନ୍ୟମୂଳକ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଟୋକିଓରେ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କର ଚମତ୍କାର ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଉଚ୍ଚଶିକ୍ଷା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ସୂରଜ ସମସ୍ତ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା ଓ ଅଭିନନ୍ଦନ ଜଣାଇଛନ୍ତି।
ଉଚ୍ଚଶିକ୍ଷା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, “ଆମ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ସଫଳତାକୁ ନେଇ ଆମେ ଗର୍ବିତ। ବୈଶ୍ବିକ ବିତ୍ତ ଫୋରମ୍ରେ ନିଜର ନବ ସୃଜନ ଓ ନୂତନ ଉଦ୍ୟମର ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଆମ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ପାଇଁ ଗର୍ବ ଓ ଗୌରବ ଅର୍ଜନ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଉଚ୍ଚଶିକ୍ଷାରେ ଜେନେରାଲ ଷ୍ଟ୍ରିମରେ ଅଧ୍ୟୟନରତ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଯେ କେବଳ ଡ଼ିଗ୍ରୀ ପାଇଁ ପାଠ ପଢୁଛନ୍ତି ତାହା ନୁହେଁ ବରଂ ନିଜର ସୃଜନଶୀଳତା ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସମସ୍ୟାକୁ ସମାଧାନ କରିବାର ପ୍ରୟାସ କରୁଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ନୂତନ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପକୁ ବୈଶ୍ବିକ ବିତ୍ତ ଫୋରମ୍ରେ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶିତ କରି ଆମ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଗୌରବାନିତ୍ୱ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହା ସମସ୍ତ ଯୁବବର୍ଗଙ୍କୁ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ରୂପେ ପ୍ରେରିତ କରିବ”, ବୋଲି ଉଚ୍ଚଶିକ୍ଷା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟବଂଶୀ ସୂରଜ କହିଛନ୍ତି।
ସୂଚନାଯୋଗ୍ୟ ଯେ, ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସରକାର ଏବଂ ସିଙ୍ଗାପୁର ଜାତୀୟ ବିଶ୍ୱ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ – ଏସିଆନ ଇନଷ୍ଟିଚ୍ୟୁଟ ଅଫ୍ ଡ଼ିଜିଟାଲ ଫାଇନାନ୍ସ ଏବଂ ଗ୍ଲୋବାଲ ଫାଇନାନ୍ସ ଆଣ୍ଡ ଟେକନୋଲୋଜି ନେଟୱାର୍କର ମିଳିତ ସହାଭାଗିତରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଓ ବିଶ୍ୱ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଫିନଟେକ୍ ଓ ଇନସ୍ୟୁରଟେକ୍ ସାର୍ଟିଫିକେଟ ପ୍ରୋଗାମ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ପ୍ରଶିକ୍ଷଣ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ଯେଉଁଥିରେ ୧୯୫ଜଣ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ ବିଭିନ୍ନ କ୍ୟାପ୍ଷ୍ଟୋନ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ଉପରେ କାମ କରିଥିଲେ। ସେଥି ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ପ୍ରଥମ ସ୍ଥାନ ହାସଲ କରିଥିବା ୭ ଜଣିଆ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ଏକ ଟିମ୍ ନିଜର ଫିନଟେକ୍ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପକୁ ଟୋକିଓ ବୈଶ୍ବିକ ବିତ୍ତ ଫୋରମ୍ରେ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚୟନିତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ।
ସେମାନେ ହେଲେ ରେଭେନ୍ସା ବିଶ୍ୱ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ବି. ସିମ୍ରନ, ରାଜେଶ୍ୱରୀ ବେହେରା, ପୁଷ୍ପାଞ୍ଜଳି ବେହେରା, ମନୀଷା ଲେଙ୍କା, ସୌମ୍ୟ ରଞ୍ଜନ ବୈଥାଲୁ, ଉତ୍କଳ ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ଶିବାଂଶୀ ନାୟକ, ସାଲେପୁର ସ୍ୱୟଂ ଶାସିତ ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ଅର୍ନିବାଣ କର।
ନିଜର ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ “ଟ୍ରାଞ୍ଚିଫି”- ଆଗାମୀ ଦିନର କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ଓ ମଧ୍ୟମ ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗ ପାଇଁ ୱାର୍କିଙ୍ଗ କ୍ୟାପିଟାଲ ପ୍ଲାଟଫର୍ମ”କୁ (TranchiFy- A trust based working capital platform for Next-Generation SMEs”) ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ବୈଶ୍ବିକ ବିତ୍ତ ଫୋରମ୍ରେ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶିତ କରିଥିଲେ। କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ଓ ମଧ୍ୟମ ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗୀମାନେ ନିଜର ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗ ପାଇଁ ଯେପରି ସହଜ ଓ ସୁବିଧାରେ ବ୍ୟାଙ୍କରୁ ଋଣ ନେଇପାରିବେ ଏବଂ ଏହି ବିତ୍ତୀୟ ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟାକୁ ଯେପରି ଡ଼ିଜିଟାଇଜ କରାଯିବ, ତାହାକୁ ନେଇ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ନିଜର ଫିନଟେକ୍ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିଥିଲେ।
“ବିତ୍ତୀୟ ଓ ପ୍ରଯୁକ୍ତିବିଦ୍ୟା କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ନବ ସୃଜନ, ନୂତନ ଉଦ୍ୟମ ଏବଂ ଦକ୍ଷତା ବିକାଶ ପାଇଁ ଫିନଟେକ୍ ଓ ଇନସ୍ୟୁରଟେକ୍ ସାର୍ଟିଫିକେଟ ପ୍ରୋଗ୍ରାମ ସହାୟକ ହୋଇପାରିଛି ଏବଂ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଏହି ଅଭିନବ ପ୍ରୟାସ ପାଇଁ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଜାତୀୟ ଫୋରମ୍ରେ ଆମ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପକୁ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆମକୁ ସୁଯୋଗ ମିଳିପାରିଛି ” ବୋଲି ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଖୁସିବ୍ୟକ୍ତ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
ପ୍ରକାଶଯୋଗ୍ୟ ଯେ, ଫିନଟେକ୍ ଓ ଇନସ୍ୟୁରଟେକ୍ ସାର୍ଟିଫିକେଟ ପ୍ରୋଗ୍ରାମର ଦ୍ଵିତୀୟ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟ ଖୁବ୍ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେବାକୁ ଯାଉଛି।
