Bhubaneswar, Oct 17 (A.D.News) Odisha Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati today urged media person’s to highlight the details of the welfare scheme’s which was published of both print and electronics’s and enhance public awareness.
Interacting with the various media person’s at Raj Bhavan, the Governor cited key initiatives such as the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Atal Pension Yojana, and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana.
Dr. Kambhampati underscored the importance of these schemes in ensuring financial security, social protection, and future stability for families.He said greater awareness could help expand access to insurance, pensions, and child savings programs, contributing to the overall well-being of society.
During the interaction, the Governor sayes tribal development, education, infrastructure, rural growth, migration, and the safety of media professionals.
Expressing confidence that Odisha could achieve developed-state status by 2036, becoz odisha is the financially strong and stable, he referred to upcoming projects by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and Indian Railways, as well as proposed semiconductor ventures and investment proposals from the Utkarsh Odisha initiative.
In line with the Prime Minister’s vision of Atma Nirbhar Bharat, Dr. Kambhampati urged departments to focus on self-reliance and people-centric development.
He also called for collective social responsibility in preventing crime and stressed the importance of skill development to curb migration.
