06 December 2025 | Bhubaneswar: (A.D.News) CII today organised the Curtain Raiser of 25TH CII Enterprise Odisha in Bhubaneswar. Chief Guest, Minister Industries, Skill Development & Technical Education, Shri Sampad Chandra Swain, unveiled the Logo and launched the official video of 25th CII Enterprise Odisha 2026 today at the Curtain Raiser. Speaking on the occasion, Hon’ble Minister highlighted the state’s rapid growth as one of India’s most promising industrial destinations. He emphasised on Odisha’s strong industrial base across mining, metals, petrochemicals, textiles, food processing, services, and MSMEs, along with emerging sectors such as renewable energy, green hydrogen, advanced manufacturing, IT/ITeS, and logistics.
The Minister highlighted that Odisha’s investor-friendly policies, simplified regulations, well-planned industrial zones, and enhanced connectivity through major roads, rail networks, airports, and ports have created a transparent and future-ready business environment. Appreciating CII’s partnership with Government of Odisha, he announced that 25TH CII Enterprise Odisha 2026 will be held from 16–18 January 2026 in Rourkela, showcasing the industrial strengths of Western Odisha with a focus on technology, sustainability, energy transition, tourism, women empowerment, and entrepreneurship.
Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Industries, Shri Hemant Sharma, highlighted the significance of showcasing Odisha’s expanding industrial growth beyond traditional hubs. He stated that bringing the flagship event to Rourkela recognises the region’s growing industrial corridor and reinforces the state’s commitment to balanced and inclusive development. The 2026 edition will spotlight emerging opportunities, new industrial clusters, and Odisha’s continued economic progress.he added Rourkela is now modern industrial city as well as large industrial zone of the state also keonjhar, Angul, Sukinda become the industry’s hub as the concept of Chief minister Mohan charan Majhi he said.
Dr Pradipta Mohanty, Chairman CII speaking on the occasion said that last edition of CII Enterprise Odisha has played a pivotal role in connecting investors with Odisha’s strengths, fostering MSME–industry linkages, and strengthening the State’s integrated industrial ecosystem at Jharsuguda. The upcoming edition will spotlight Odisha’s emergence as a centre for technology-led growth, sustainable industrial practices, advanced manufacturing, clean energy, and future-ready infrastructure.

Mr Swayam Prakash Baral, Member, National Council highlighted that Enterprise Odisha has grown through a strong partnership with the Government of Odisha, and taking it to Jharsuguda for the first time boosted both industry engagement and local community confidence. He added saying with the 25th edition will see fresh opportunities and greater visibility. Odisha continues to draw national attention, and this edition will further strengthen that momentum.
