Bhubaneswar 1.10.2026 [ADN] : With the aim of creating public awareness about sanitation, environmental protection and healthy lifestyle, UCO Bank, Bhubaneswar celebrated Swachhta Pakhwada with various cleanliness, tree plantation and public awareness programs.
Shri Pranab Kumar Biswas, General Manager of UCO Bank and Convenor of SLBC Odisha, along with Shri Bhagwat Singh Bhakuni, Zonal Head of UCO Bank Bhubaneswar Zone and Smt. Rashta, Zonal Head of Cuttack Zone, were present at the program.
On this occasion, officers and employees of UCO Bank’s Cuttack and Bhubaneswar Zonal Offices, along with employees of SLBC, Employee Training Center, Mid Corporate Branch, SPPC (State Pension Processing Cell), Property Management Branch, Field Inspectorate and Ashoknagar Branch actively participated in the cleanliness campaign. In addition, people were made aware about the importance of cleanliness, sanitation and environmental protection by planting trees.
On this occasion, Shri Pranab Kumar Biswas said that maintaining cleanliness is the collective responsibility of everyone. A clean and healthy environment is very necessary for a healthy and happy life. He called upon everyone to actively participate in building a clean and healthy society.
Through all these programs, UCO Bank promoted cleanliness, environmental protection, health and healthy lifestyle and called for maximum public participation in building a clean, green and healthy society.
