A Mega Camp under the Nationwide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 4.0 was organised today at East Coast Railway Headquarters, Bhubaneswar, in association with State Bank of India (SBI). The initiative was aimed at facilitating retired employees and pensioners of East Coast Railway in submitting their Life Certificates digitally, thus promoting ease of living through technology.
As part of the Government’s Digital India initiative, this campaign enables pensioners to generate and submit their Life Certificates through the Jeevan Pramaan Portal using Aadhaar-based authentication. Many pensioners from different departments attended the camp and availed assistance in generating and uploading their Digital Life Certificates.
Officials from East Coast Railway and State Bank of India provided on-the-spot guidance to pensioners and demonstrated the use of digital tools and mobile applications for submitting Life Certificates from home. Dedicated help desks and technical teams were deployed to assist pensioners in completing the process smoothly.
Senior officials of East Coast Railway appreciated the efforts of SBI in extending necessary technical support and emphasized the importance of adopting digital modes in pension-related services. Such initiatives not only enhance convenience but also ensure transparency and efficiency in service delivery.
Similar Digital Life Certificate Camps are also being organised across various units and divisions under East Coast Railway to reach out to all pensioners and empower them through digital awareness and accessibility.
